What are the max amount calories a day for a guy that is 5 7' 206 pounds that wants to lose 40 pounds can eat??


Question: I also do 45 minutes of hard core cardio 6 days a week.
Answers: I would say no more then 1600 if you are wanting to lose weight faster, if not so fast then you could eat like 1800-2000 a day.
wow, I'm 5'7 and I weigh about 206 pounds and I want to lose about 40 pounds and I do about 45 minutes of exercise every day... and my name is Chris! O_O no joke!

Actually I only want to lose about 30 pounds because I'm pretty muscular.. but it's still pretty weird.. I haven't been counting calories, but I might start to do that soon if I don't start seeing more significant results..

one pound is about equivalent to 3000 calories.. so if we burn 3000 calories every day and we're eating 2000 calories every day, then we should lose about a pound every three days.. we burn calories constantly, not just while we're exercising.. but exercise is good because it increases the metabolism which makes us burn more calories even when we aren't exercising..
around 2,000. calories per day. did you check with your doctor before starting an exercise program? Talk with a nutritionist for the right kinds of foods to incorporate in your diet.
1200 calories and a hour of excercise every day shoud do the trick.
