When is it to late to eat (in the evening)considering when your metabolism shuts down??

Answers: no your metabolism never shuts down. i dont know where that comes from. the reason people say not to eat late at night is because we are not as active when we sleep. we still burn calories, but not as much. so if we dont eat after certian times, we lose weight because that is one less meal we eat that day, not because our metabolism shuts down
people's bodies usualy shut down at 8pm so if u eat after 8 all that food just sits there in u
7:30 actually
Everyone is diffrent. depends on when you stop being active. when you go to bed.
about 2-3 hours before going to bed. your body knows whats comming up soon and will naturally start shutting down
If you have health issues or eating concerns or disorders, then try to stop eating 3 hours prior to bed time. If you are trying to lose weight this will increase your metabolism and prevent waking up looking bloated.
i try not to east past 7pm. i feel heavy if i do.
You should allow 3 hours or so between dinner/desert and going to sleep. A little water or a beverage that is mostly water is fine, so long as you don't have enough to wake you up and make you go to the bathroom.
Chrono-metabolic rates, on average, start to slow down after 6 pm. Try not to eat at least 4 hours before bed time, but, if you can go 5 - 6 before bedtime without eating, then you are giving your body a complete opportunity to rest.

The last thing your body wants to be doing as you fall asleep is to be busy digesting food.

Sleep is the opportunity for your brain, organs, and metabolic processes to stop, slow down, or take a breather.
The best way to keep your body in balance throughout the day and to avoid cravings & insulin spikes is to eat a portion appropriate, balanced meal of high quality protein & carbs every 2-3 hours while you are awake. For most people that would mean having 5-6 meals a day. Two of those should include a vegetable. I'm not talking about highly processed carbs such as white breads, cookies, candy etc. Carbs should be whole wheat pasta or bread, brown rice, beans or yams. Also you need to drink a minimum of 10 glasses of water a day for your body to function properly and you need to exercise regularly doing both cardio and resistance training. This is how you loose weight, not by starving yourself or by not eating after a certain time at night.
