Have you ever broken a bad habit? What was it and how did you do it??

Answers: Yes. Smoking. I was 22 when my grandmother died. She was the first person that died when I was an adult, and death really sank in. I just decided to stop smoking the day we buried her. I did it cold turkey, with the help of those little baby carrots.
Yes!

My bad habit was to call people every time I had a worry. As soon as I got an itch to call someone I would. In time I realized people didn't care they had their own lives to deal with so instead of calling people I write down everything.
i stopped smoking ciggarets about 7 months ago . I just started playing football , working out and stopped drinking for 2 weeks and i quit.
Yeah - smoking.

I just gave up one day as a challange to myself. To see if I could. Nearly 3 months later its apparent I could.
So far yes! I've twisted strands of my hair for basically 28 years. (I'm almost 29, had one period of too short hair). You have to decide that it is what you want to do, and be strong, don't give in. The first 3-4 days were the worst, and now it's been 3 weeks already!
My boyfriend smoked for 5-6 years, and the day his father had a heart attack he quit, cold turkey. He made the decision to do it and stuck to it.
