How quickly can I get defined abs if I don't have any abdominal fat to lose??
Question: I am slim and don't have any abdominal fat that would obstruct muscles. What are the best exercises to do for my abs and how long will it be until I see results?

if your naturally skinny you should should be albe to see SOME abs. just do a lot of core work, situps, crunches, v-sits, row boats, all that stuff
You DO have fat to lose, or your abs would show. 4-6% Body fat usually reveals nice abs
Don't do crunches. They are lame. Do full sit-ups, sit-ups on an incline bench, bicycle kicks (also called pulleys) every night and you will see results in about 4 weeks.
if you have no belly fat you should see results i n 8 to 10 days
You should try the ab diet. I am also slim and wanted more defined abs this past summer ...

Basically, your diet consists of protein, nuts, calcium, and fruit for approximately 10 days.
As with all muscle building you must lift heavy. For your abs that means that you must do reps that are difficult enough to only allow you to do relatively few reps per set. If you do a lot of sets like that you should have a clear illustration of your four pack in about a month. To get the fully defined six pack still may take you a year, or longer.
