I need tips on how to run a mile in 10 minutes without giving up easy or getting tired so fast. PLEASE HELP!!!?
Answers: well...first things first. Drink alot of fluid perferably water. Drink the fluid all day b4 u have 2 run the mile. Then when the time comes...remeber slow and steady at first to keep ur body under controll. After that, near the end u will be able 2 finish up strong. Breath in through ur nose and out of ur mouth. This is circulated breathing and u should make it to the end within 10 min. To test it out...try it one day when u have free time and see if it works. U could also practice by going half a mile and slowly increasing it. B4 u know it...you'll score BIG time!!!
Almost anyone can run a mile in 10 mins. If you can't , then start training to be able to to it. Start buy run a longer distance, each day, do some wind sprints, but you've got to build up your endurance.
Unless you are crazy out of shape, you should be able to do this. Most of it is mental. You'd be surprised by how much you can do if you don't let yourself give up. Try listening to music while you run. It helps you forget about how miserable you are. If you have time to work on this, start out small. Run a 1/4 mile everyday until you can run it in 2.5 minutes. Then try a 1/2 mile in 5 minutes... Also, be sure to start out slowly so you don't waste energy. If you start out sprinting, you're sure to start walking within the first 2 laps. Good luck!
concentrate on your breath and on planting your feet properly. also, keep your shoulders relaxed.
i used to run long distance, and what really helped me was to pay attention to my breathing--keep it as deep as you can (not shallow and rushed).
Swimming is best for flattening stomach butt lifting and firming(legs, thighs, waist too!)Without tension on your legs and lower back becasue there's a little gravity on the water!If your overweight, you might get leg injury. This is a total cardiovascular work out and lungs exercise. better than running miles.Good luck

Ok- start training by speed walking. An average, healthy person SHOULD be able to speed walk a mile in 10 minutes, so drink plenty of water, eat healthy- energy giving foods, and walk away. Once you can do the mile in 10 min, start jogging/running it. You might loose a little time because speed walking an running are 2 completely different things- at least you'll have some endurance from the speed walking to help you keep going on the run though.
constant jog, not flat out run then walk. u need to train, control what you eat.
