How will drinking a gallon of water a day help me lose wait and is eatng a nutrigrain bar 3 x a day bad??


Question: im walking 30 minute a day lifting weights and drinking water no longer eatng bread or pasta ive cut my porprtion in half and eat less than 1000 calories a day but dont seem like im losing weight been doing for two weeks

you need to be getting at least 1500 calories a day. Read the label on the nutragrain bar. they are not that healthy. you need to incorporate lean meats, vegetables nd fruits into your diet and you will see the weight drop off. i have lost 40 pounds in 4 months doing the same thing but i am eating 1800 calories a day.
When you first start your fitness regime, don't judge weight loss by the scale. It's better if you look at how your clothes are fitting (looser, hopefully!) When you start working out, you gain muscle mass. It may take some time to notice obvious weight loss. FYI: it's great that you're combining cardio activity with weight training. A must!

Be careful about your calorie intake. You need a balanced diet, with meals in moderate amounts, to remain healthy. Just cut down your portions, and don't substitute nutigrain bars for meals. One big problem with dieters is they drop all kinds of weight and then gain it back again because they drastically changed their eating habits. Just modify what you already like to eat. Avoiding breads and pastas entirely will just make you crave them later. Just cut down the amounts. Allow yourself a treat once in a while.

Sometimes when we feel hunger pains, drinking a glass of water will make them go away. So that's a good thing to do. Also, if you substitute water for all the soda, juices, and other daily drinks you will eliminate tons of calories.
