What are some excerszes that a handicapped person can do to get a flatter stomach??
Question: I am a paraplegic and am interested in making myself have a flatter stomach. If anyone knows any type of excersizes that I can use, I would be very appreciative. Also, if there are any other excersizes that you could think of not just for my stomach i would really appreciate it.
Thanks
Answers: If you can control your abdominal muscles, you can contract and relax them 20 times, in 4 sets a day. You can stretch your arms over head, and turn your torso side to side. If you can, stretch to your toes. Do not do any exercises unless your doctor said it is safe to do them. Also, never exercise when you are in a room by yourself. If you pass out or fall, no one would be there to help you.
Yoga, when practiced under a proper trainer (proper being someone who's certified and experienced and isn't a quack who'll try to convince you he's genuine solely by his ethnicity), can help you a LOT. It's gentle, it aims for the long-term benefits, and you don't have to adhere to the whole no-pain-no-gain principle at all. It's effective, that's why millions of people around the world and in India swear by it and live long, strong lives.
I FOUND NOTHING ON WEB EXCEPT TO ORDER EXPENSIVE EQUIPMENT FOR EXERCISES. WHAT ABOUT BAR BELLS LIFTED OVERHEAD. A RECOMMENDATION FOR NON-HANDICAPPED IS TO HAVE ERECT POSTURE TO KEEP TUMMY IN. BAR BELLS WOULD HELP THE ENTIRE UPPER BODY. YOU DON'T NEED HEAVY WEIGHTS EITHER JUST DO EXERCISES SLOW AND EASY AND WATCH YOUR BREATHING.
Thanks
