Will a person with more fat gain more muscle than a skinny person??

Question: Let's say a person with exessive fat benches 100, and a person with little fat benches 100 as well with the same number of reps and sets. Will the increase of weight differ later, or will the fat and skinny person still bench the same a few weeks later of weightlifting?
Answers: It's hard to say. There are so many other variables than just how much fat you have. That makes no difference on how fast you gain muscle. Diet is the most important thing for gaining muscle. Genetics also plays a big role. This doesn't mean that some people can't gain muscle, but that it may just take longer than others.
The skinny person will actually gain weight when the muscles form....the fat person will loose weight because the fat will turn into muscle.
yes they will more mass to fill with muscle but if u stop working out the fat returns and its worse than before
its wrong what u are saying... actualy its reverse
the over weight person will gain more muscle than the skinny person because... that over weight person has more tissue than the skinny person does because the skinny person doesn't have enough protein and fibers to begin with to get the same amount of muscle as the fatter person. also the the person with more fat will be able to use more energy as opposed to the skinny person.
Sorry Jen u r wrong. fat tissues do not turn in to muscle tissues. Skinny one can gain muscles quickly because there is no fat to burn. Fat guy on the other hand will start to burn fat as well as gain muscles.

i hope this helps.
