How many servings or ounces of fish can I eat per week??

Question: I know over a certain amount can be dangerous for your health. Because of the mercury. I typically eat Salmon, Tuna steaks, Cod and Tilapia. I usually eat fish 4 times a week for dinner. (About 6 oz each night)
Answers: Mixing up the menu with different fish is the best way to protect yourself from heavy metal poisoning while still gaining the benefits of eating fish.
Sounds like you're doing pretty well.
Try Halibut and sole every now and then too.
i per day
Some fish have more Mercury then others, but as a general rule I think three servings a week is healthy.
More and more studies are showing high levels of mercury in fish.

Tuna I think was recently added to the watch list. Also items from certain parts of the country. The FDA website could probably help, also the CDC website may consider this a potential epidemic problem.

Eating exclusively fish and not shellfish may not be as good for you as you think.
I as well eat fish 4 times a week. I only have salmon once because of its high fat content, and I usually just eat flounder or cod for the other days. If you really want to have a good meal plan I'd take the remaining 3 days and eat boneless, skinless chicken breast.
