How to do Hallowe'en? Allergic to Milk, Peanuts, leaf dust and mould, Anaphylaxis to eggs, asthma and allergies?

Question: We used to know all of our neighbours and live close to family so we only went where he could feel normal, but we've recently moved and don't know the neighbours at all, family is still close. My son is 4. Anyone with experience? We considered a party, but the few classmates we have connected with have their own traditions or places they always go.....
Answers: My two year old is the same way. we let him trick or treat, we try to get what he can have if the houses have it, and then we trade out his candy for the safe stuff that I have at home. I just tell him it will make him itchy and he does just fine with it. I let him trade his candy though so that he has an active part in everything.
Another Idea...
I had a friend use this one
buy a whole bunch of cheap little toys $1 and $2 items, set up a little store and let your son buy the toys with the candy. Not only do you get him away from what he is allergic to, but he gets to chose what he wants to purchase.
Good luck I know how hard this is
let him trick or treat and treat, take the candy buy your son the candy or things he can eat give the others away then he can enjoy the fun
Let him go. You can follow him to every door and help him pick out safe candy. You can also let him pick out whatever and then trade him for a toy, or something, that he has been wanting when you get home.
