Why do children pick there noses and eat the bogie's??
Answers: can ask the same question about the adults drving down the road doing the same thing.
because there parents have done a horrible job raising them.

No one ever told them not to do it!! So yuck, I told my child not to the first time I caught her digging in her nose!!
Because they are children, and innocence has guided them. It's the parent's job now to explain to them why it's gross LOL
It itches and blocks breathing in the nose and they have been constantly told to not wipe their hands on their clothing.
Because their mothers don't teach them not to? Thats the only thing I can think of, how is a kid supposed to know not to do it if their mother doesn't tell them it's gross???
First off because they are children and they don't know any better. Second they are salty and their bodies may be craving salt. Do you know there is a disorder that if a child is lacking in certain nutrients they will eat hair dirt or clay, sounds crazy but true. It''s called pica

Maybe the fish-food counter had no peri-winkles left. Take a look at these tasty little morsels,and one would swear they were bogies. I like them! ( Winkles not bogies.)

I wish I knew! My son just started it and I think he learned it at daycare. The more I tell him not to the more he wants to!
cause,sometimes older brothers or kids,tell em its a good thing,to pick nose and eat,caught my ex wife's uncle telling the little kid's he'd givem a quarter to do it (he's a MORON)
