Answers: You might find as you get him on gluten free diet that some of his other issues may straighten out. There are a number of gluten free cookbooks available and Whole Foods has a number of products available too. But sounds like the best thing at the moment would be fresh fruit and vegetables and non processed- nothing added fresh meat. Stay clear of sauces and soups until you learn how to read the labels and all the hidden gluten things.
For the lactose intolerance, is he old enough to take Lactaid which allows people to digest lactose. My wife uses it and it has helped her a lot.
Good on your doctor to test for celiac and then try the gluten free approach anyway. Hopefully it will help. Try the references below for support and if you have more questions try one of the support groups you can find in the websites or email me.
Good luck
You should consult an allergist, who can treat your son. Food allergies are treatable to a great extent, if not 100%. However, you need to have patience, as it takes months or sometimes years for the treatment to work.
Does he have Celiac Disease? I just ask bc its odd fora child so young to be diagnosed with true allergies. Celiac is a far more likely diagnosis but requires testing and a good doc and can go undiagnosed for years.
If he does have Celiac you may find that in time after being ont he gluten free diet, he will be able to eat lactose again.
Just curious, wanted to share the info. For any help with gluten free or Celiac, feel free to email me.

Millions of people have food allergies. It is very common. I was allergic to dairy as a child, and grew out of my allergies in my teen years. One of my two daughters has allergies to milk/dairy products, the other doesn't, but I fully expect my daughter with allergies to grow out of them.
Sounds like you have a normal kid - no worries. If the allergies become uncomfortable for your kid, see a specialist - they can work wonders.
