Is Cardio exercises good for asthma??

Answers: Yes! Thats the simple answer. When you exercise you tend to breathe more deeply to get more oxygen in your lungs. Doing this increases your lung capacity (amount of air your lungs can hold) and can help when you do get asthma.
yes
in moderation, yes.
yes. as long as you have an inhaler close by.
a balanced amount is i think... consult you doctor
Any exercise you can take as an asthmatic is good for you, as being overweight and unfit only puts more strain on your lungs and breathing, make sure you always use your brown inhaler before exercising and have your blue with you when you are, good luck !
I don't have an answer for you... but I have a question. Do you have an inhaler? Does it work for you? I have been through a few different types of inhalers and I still have breathing problems when I try to run. I should back to a doctor... but I don't exactly have health insurance right now.
I used to have asthma when I was little, and it's all but gone now.

I never had asthma attacks, but couldn't participate properly in sports or exercise, so my parents started me on swimming lessons when I was about 6 or 7 years old. I did that for a couple of years and it helped - it's about training your body to breath better. I also started learning the recorder at school (a wind instrument) and that helped too, plus it was fun! When I entered high school at 11 years old, I started learning the flute and joined the concert band. That continued for about four years, when I switched to the saxophone (wow, even more breath control needed). I was about 14 or so when I stopped needing my inhaler right by my side for sports, and joined the soccer team with no worries as a senior. Now I'm an adult, and I regularly practice yoga (in a class) and go for regular brisk walks and sometimes jogs. All that breath work over the years worked for me, I believe and now it's completely gone.

I also recommend some singing lessons, as they help you learn how to use and control your breath more effectively and increase your lung capacity. Good luck! x x x
