Can something in fountain soda cause food sensitivity or allergic reaction??
Question: Drinking fountain soda at the movies or fast food places sends a friend :-) for a mad dash to the nearest bathroom about 20 minutes later. What ingredient would cause this?
Answers: unclean pipes from the syrup container to the dispensing nozzle.
Could've been anything as your body can react to all you consume and some people have an allergy or intolerance to whatever ingredient. Chemicals in soda are probably worse than water.
Sometimes fountain soda has the syrup of the soda turned up so it tastes sweeter, or also it could be more carbonated. Does canned or bottled soda have the same effect when poured on ice?
i get really sick if i drink soda on an empty stopmach, or when i'm really full. if you usually get a caffinated drink, that's probably it. caffine makes tons of people sick.

Diet Pepsi will do this to many people. I don,t know what it is, but it sends me to the men s room in record time, no exceptions, it does it every time. Sometimes I order a diet Coke and the idiots do not tell you that they serve Pepsi. Soon after drinking it I run to the men's room. When I ask what it was that they serve they say Pepsi. Sometimes the water that they use in the fountain system is of a very poor quality and it makes certain people sick, mainly the ones with weak stomachs....KECK
I am allergic to all diet sodas, except for diet sodas that are sweetened with Splenda. It could be a reaction to Nutrasweet, Saccharin or Aspartame.
Caffeine can do that, hype up the bladder! I had a bad fountain drink from a 7-11. Tasted nasty. It was called Frawg. A apple tasting drink, I was able to push a 2ND button for adding in vanilla flavoring.
Something went wrong, blech, god awful taste. Did not take long for me to have diarrhea!
I for one, no longer drink from Fountain machines. Sealed bottles only and sometimes will rinse under water to make sure no germs on rims of aluminum cans spout. Then I open it and drink it.
