Can you be allergic to caffine???
Question: I recently had to be up for a long period of time so I took a couple of caffine pills, after that I felt sick and light headed. I dont feel like that when I drink soda or coffee but was just wondering if someone could be allergic to caffine??

But in your case, taking 1 of those caffeine tablets is the equivalent of drinking 4-6 cups full-dose high-caffeine truckstop vintage coffee. And you took a couple? I'll bet you WERE feeling light-headed & nauseous!

You could well have had too much caffiene: It has been known to do that, or to cause severe headaches.
The next time you need to be up a long time, try a bag of peanuts and a soda. That works for Mother when she has to go on a long drive.
