How do i get rid of this stye?????
Question: i heard that using a cats tail works but i dont got a cat!!!!!!will it work if use a dog's tail????? please help lol
Answers: hot compresses several times a day. if they don't go away on their own, they have to get surgically removed.
My optician wife tells me to use a warm compress(warm rag)several times a day, until it pops or goes away.
Warm compresses
I've never heard of using your pets tail but my Grandma always said and everyone in my family swears by using a warm wet tea bag...you can get rid of your stye and have some soothing tea at the same time!!!
Mine hurt so bad that I used the hot rag to help it to head (like a zit), and then I very very very carefully took a safety pin and poked the top white part of it (yes, it was painless) and it slowly oozed out. The pressure was gone and it cleared up quickly after that... not sure how much I suggest this approach but it made me feel a million times better.
Warm wet compresses will help the infection to open and drain. Apply a wash cloth that is very warm and wring the water from it allow it to cool and reapply. do this several times a day. Be very careful to not allow anyone else to touch this cloth as this infection is passed easily. Wash your hands often. if you have increasing discomfort or it doesn't look better tomorrow then you will have to see the doctor for an antibiotic ointment.
