I slept with mycontacts now my eye is really red??
Question: and it gets watery when itsbright how long is dis goin 2b red????
Answers: You could have scratched your cornea, or contracted an infection or both. You should wear your glasses until it clears up. I scratched both my corneas from wearing my contacts too long, and the ER doc made me wear eye patches for a week. He also gave me some ointment. If it doesn't clear up in a couple days I would suggest going to the eye doctor, you don't want to let it go too long.
If you keep the contacts out and use your lasses it should start to clear in 24 hours, if it gets worse you may need medical attention to make sure you didn't damage any part of your eye, and of course if it gets worse see a doctor right away
take your contacts out and try some visen.. if that doesn't clear it up then go see you eye doctor, because your dirty contacts have caused an infection.
your eye just needs to breathe. when you have contacts on not alot of air gets to your eyes and it causes it to turn red, all you need to do is just rehydrate it, pretty much visine will do it. also night and day focus contacts are good for you leave them in for a whole month and you can even sleep in them.
I sleep with my contacts in a lot and that never happens to me. You must have an infections and it will continue to be red and sensative until you get sometype of eye drops that can kill the infection. Usually you can get them from your regular doctor, not the eye doctor.
In this condition get the contact lens out of your eyes. Have both eyes cleanses but after this your eyes will tend to be very dry and sensitive. Therefore it is advisable to rest your eyes for hours depending on how many you have got to spare. The main point is to get away from the light temporarily. You should recover in 1 ~ 2 days time.
