Answers: What do you mean What if I have a allergic reaction... & don't have any benadryl?
Sorry, but those of us with respiratory problems MUST plan ahead and always have meds/inhalers/etc. within easy reach. I never go ANYWHERE without pills and inhaler in my purse.
Stop drinking milk or eating cheese or having too much dairy. After years of suffering, I found out that dairy makes my respiratory problems worse because dairy products create mucus.
Anytime you're having a real hard time breathing, yes, use the inhaler. If that doesn't work, call 911. You really need to talk this out with your parents. Talk to a teacher about it first if you're not comfortable going directly to your parents.
A friend's nephew, age 29, died of an asthmas attack because he was too stubborn to go to the emergency room. Respiratory problems ARE serious so you need to get clear with your parents that you're not joking about this. Why would you have a bronchospasm and your parents not believe you?
1. If you don't have to take the medicine, don't.
if you have had a seizure, call 911.
Most don't last longer than 15-20 minutes,
they can be serious if you are having lots of them.
2.Bronchospasms are a form of asthma attack, they both are spasms of the lungs and air ways, both can be deadly as they keep you from getting enough air in your lungs.
If you get bronchospasms, before they get bad enough that you're going to pass out call 911.
3. Yes! Use your inhaler, that is what they are used for. Again if it doesn't help call 911.
You don't give your age or what medication you are using, but if your parents are not believing you, talk to your doctor about the reactions you are having, perhaps there is another medication you can be put on that won't cause a reaction.
