Dogs, cat and humans all sneezing, why? can a cold be passed back and forth??

Answers: There are VERY few diseases that can be passed between humans and animals, and most of them are VERY nasty (think rabies or ebola). Presuming you aren't dealing with either of those (HIGHLY unlikely!!!!!), it's entirely possible that you and your animals are all allergic to something. People aren't the only creatures that have allergies, after all, and now that most of us have our heat on (at least in the northern hemisphere), many animals suffer from dust and mold allergies just as we do. For humans, Claratin or Benadryl are excellent products. For Fido or Fluffy, a consultation with your vet is in order.

Good luck!
No, you cannot get a cold from animals.
i dont think you can get a cold from a animal but i do know they can get one from you, Animals can get anything we have i dont know if you have ever heard of the HPV virus but animals can also get that as well from us. But they can get sick from humans if its a cold or even a stomach bug. So when your sick dont put your face in thier faces cause they will get it.
Generally speaking, colds & allergies do not cross the species gender, however, that is not to say that both people and animals cannot have either. They just don't get it from each other with the exception of people being allergic to some animals. With colds, animals can pass it to each other. You cannot give a cold or allergy to your pet. If your pet has a cold, just make sure she/he is kept in a warm place, can eat/drink as much as she/he needs to. There are no medications for viruses (same as people). It is only if secondary infections (like bacterial) arise from the cold.
