Allergy Restaurants??

Question: Anyone know of ethnic restaurants that are accomodating to people with allergies or have any tips for explaining allergies, especially at asian restaurants. I am severely allergic to nuts/peanuts and I live in the Boston area.

They have great ideas and experience.

I have very good luck at Japanese places, Vietnamese places,
I avoid Thai and most all Chinese, sadly. As I cannot eat curry no idea about Indian rest..

explaining , yes impossible, between your (?) Boston accent, no insult intended, as I a Southie raised, Cambridge born & still have it. I'd go as far as your color printer to explain I do speak a bit of Japanese and Vietnamese (Army my ticket out of Boston). :-)

The children of our local places owners, all American college students, translate for the mom & dad places we go. After a few months, we are like family , but you like in a big city, who knows.

Brocholi and other allergies were easy versus peanut oil ,
and the likes. I went organic and veg over a decade ago, still have to be careful.
Just ask the waiters which meals contain nuts or traces of nuts. If they don't know have them ask the chef
You may be allergic to MSG. It is often found in asian restaurants. They use it for flavoring. You can request your meal be prepared with out it.
