My lips had become very dark, this could be bcoz of smoking or maybe I was hospitalized for a month ??

Question: I was hospitalized
Answers: Hi there !
If you are sure that it is not due to smoking...

1. Too many medications can make such changes..
2. Many lack of fluid intake as well as lack of nutrients , which happens commonly when ur constrained to hospital beds..
3. Wait for couple of weeks and if there is absolute no change, take an opinion from a good dermatologist..okay ?
All the best wishes..
could be from both could be from neither fo them something totally unrelated
its hard to say cause you could have been in the hospital for anything
Both can be a reason. One because of heat of smoke and the other due to loss of blood. Both are reversable once you stop smoking and other by eating good food to rejunevate your blood.
It was because you were hospitalized and maybe the illness has reduced hemoglobin level in your blood. Smoking makes lips darker or turns them black unless you burn your lips.
It is the effect of the drugs you swallowed. Will be ok after few days
THERE ARE TWO REASONS FOR LIPS TO BECOME DARK
1) SMOKING
2) WHEN U WET UR LIPS CONTINUOSLY.
may be u were tensed in hospital and also due to dry atmospehere there...u might have wet ur lips frequently..
back off the crackpipe dude.
mainly due to smoking...quit smoking...it is good for your general health. I am 62...I was smoking in my early 20s for more than 15 years....now I have stopped for more than 30 years that has improved my health.
FIRST STOP SMOKING PERMANENTLY THEN U'LL OBSERVE THE DIFFERENCE.
