What is leukoria plz tell me its side effets (leukoria disease)??
Answers: i think it is misspelled. it should be LEUKOCORIA.
leukocoria means whitish discoloration of the Lens of ur eye, which means that u ve Cataract..
in children, its because of a Primary tumor- Retinoblastoma,
in elderly, it can be because of age or even because of diabetes.
in diabetics, there is extra sugar in the blood, on the eye, this sugar (glucose) gets converted to sorbitol and sticks to the lens covering it and making it difficult to see...
if not treated or consulted by the Ophthalmologist immdeaitely, it can lead to Blindness and if it is a child, even death, because of the tumor...
