Cedar is killing me, how can I relieve myself of the symptoms of hayfever??
Question: I live in central Tx in a suburb of San Antonio. It's one of the crappiest places to live with this allergic reaction, I know. But right now, moving doesn't interest me (couldn't afford to anyway). Anyone know of any OTC antihistamines/decongestants that help fight hayfever? I don't have insurance, so getting perscription medicine would be very expensive, and it's not life-threatening (immunotherapy is out of the question).
And it has to be something I can get from say, H.E.B.
I'm currently on loratadine 10mg (Claritin equivalent)
Would Benadryl be better? Sudafed?
Does drinking more water or avoiding certain foods help?
thanks.
Answers: I use sudafed tablets and fluticasone nasal spray for my rhinitis.
(Sorry - don't know what brand name fluticasone is sold under in the US, but I'm sure a pharmacy could tell you.)
Benadryl, it might make you drowsy, but it works
I have always found that Benadryl is the best for my allergies. If you have any clinics in your area that will let you pay according to your income, then check into getting allergy shots. If not just keep trying different allergy meds, one of them will work for you.
I know you don't want to go to the Dr. but go anyway and get a prescription for singular.........
sudafed tablets works for me
I have the answer for you, I too suffer from the worst allergies my cure came from natural Bee Pollen from http://www.beeroyalproducts.com their bee pollen has cured me it takes a month or so before you start to feel the difference but now after a year of taking it my allergies ARE ALL GONE ! that's right you heard it GONE LIKE THE WIND ... go to the web site just buy the stuff you won't regret it and its only 14.95 and lasts over a month much cheaper than all those drugs your taking and it works try it you have nothing to loose just the hay fever
