Sunlight allergy??
Question: i have an allergy to sunlight also get coldsores due to the sun, going to the hospital as an outpatient for three days, does anyone know how it is trearted as it hasnt been explained to me
Answers: I am allergic to the sun (for the past 30 years). When I go in the sun I get blisters, similar to chickenpox. I need only be exposed for 10 minutes. When I was younger I used to be treated with a cortisone injection. The doctor warned me that it would not be good for me in the long run. Today my skin is very thin, and scars quite easily - (especially my arms). Thus, I do not advise this treatment. What I am doing now is preventing sun exposure (very difficult) and applying loads of block out and when I do get these lumps I apply Voltaren Jel. It relieves the burn and itch and somehow the lumps go away much sooner than they normally (3 weeks) would.
Good luck - this is not easy to live with, especially in sunny South Africa.
With garlic or silver bullet i think.
Okay, my sister has something similar, try shea butter on your skin. Its the only thing she has found that works, shes tried steriods and everything, nothing touches it. Best one you can get is from this website and it really works, its also 100% natural but the doctor will never think of it. My sis searched for near on 7 years

Weird one, isn't it? Allergic to the sun? Does not compute but I had it about 20 years ago. All i can put it down to is stress, as I've always worked outdoors but first started suffering during an extremely difficult stage; and it has since disappeared.
Cold-sores likewise, I still get them, (and had them previously), but they do seem to co-inside with times of my being below par .
Zovirax is great for cold-sores.
A dermatologist should tell you what to do. But if u have an allergy to the sun you will need 2 stay inside. Like the children in the film the others
