Allergic reaction????

Question: This is so weird - my skin is generally porcelain - but all of a sudden I broke out in a rash (not sure if it's the change of seasons, makeup product, food or whatever) It's not red just hundreds of tiny bump things - it was itchy but I used calamine lotion..
Anyone any ideas what this could be or how to cure it ( quickly!!)??
Answers: If you are not allergic to Benadryl, take a dose and see what happens.

If the rash gets a little better in a few hours, then you can surmise that you had an allergic reaction to something. Go over the last week or so and see if you used anything new (lotions, soap, laundry soap, dry cleaner).

An allergist is the only one that can tell you for sure, if you go to your general doc he will probably give you steroids and anti-histamines to control the rash, but won't do much about it's cause.

Good luck
IT MOST LIKELY IS FROM THE COLD WEATHER. IT CAN DRY OUT YOU SKIN. AND SOMETIMES WHEN YOU GET OLDER YOUR SKIN CAN CHANGE. IF IT CONTINUES OR BOTHERS YOU TO MUCH GO SEE A DOCTOR. IT COULD BE SOMETHING AS SIMPLE AS THE LAUNDRY SOAP HAS CHANGED AND IT DOESNT AGREE WITH YOU SKIN OR IF YOU WORE SOMETHING OF A FRIENDS AND THEIR LAUNDRY SOAP IS DIFFERNT THAN YOURS.
