The tip of my 2 year olds sons nose keeps going blue why??

I've not heard of noses going blue.. but in first aid if the fingernails turn blue/purple it's because of a lack of circulation. as long as your son is acting normal (as active as a 2 year old should be and not slurring more than normal :P) then you PROBABLY don't have any immediate problems, so i wouldn't run off to the ER unless you notice other symptoms or the blue area starts expanding quickly, however, i would put in a call to your PCP (primary care physician) and get an appointment to get it checked out if it keeps happening.
Unless it's finger paint he probably has poor circulation. There isn't much room in the nose for blood flow and if he is fair skinned then you will be able to see his veins easily.
Make sure he eats iron rich foods, dark green veggies are great, red meat and salmon work too. If he becomes sluggish or often cold to the touch take him to the doctor for a blood test. It's a 5 min test and a prick to the finger. Just be advised, there isn't much a doctor can do other than advise diet and vitamins.
Definately get it checked out. Don't take any risks with kids, they're too precious.
