Why i need more sleep in a big city??
Answers: Sleep comes in four stages: 1 - the semi-conscious sleepy feeling you have just before you fall asleep; 2 and 3 - the dream, REM stages; and 4 - the delta wave deep sleep. You need the deep sleep for your body to repair itself. And you need stages 2 and 3 to get required dreams. Normally, you cycle through these stages several times during the night. In a big city, there may be too much noise or light for you to be able to reach, and spend enough time in stages 2, 3 and 4. So, even though you're sleeping longer, you may still only be getting the same amount of deep sleep.
Try to keep the room dark and quiet as possible. You could even try eye shades and ear plugs (like they give out on long airplane flights) to see if that helps.

people need sleep for the relaxation of their body,analyzation of day's event, and repair of their tissues that were damage during activity. people especially in the big city need more sleep due to the increase pollution intake and stress that blocks oxygen from properly circulating inside the body, since tissues need oxygen, it would take more time to repair damage tissues and cells.
