Why does your forehead get hot when you have a fever??

Answers: Are your cheeks hot as well? I mean the cheeks on your face. I know this will sound weird but have someone feel your cheeks and forehead with their lips. If they say all 3 are warm, then yes, you have a fever. I say the lips because they are more sensitive to heat than the hand. But if only your forehead is warm and your cheeks arent, then you more than likely dont have a fever or just a very low grade fever at best.
When you have a fever it means your body tempature is above normal. Your whole body should feel warm or hot to another person because of this. I think its just the easiest and most convenient place to check.

That's freaky!
You are hot when your body has a fever because your temperature rises when it fights infection. Your temperature can also be taken under the arm as well as butt (grose) and ear. More accurate temperature readings are given with those areas
