How do you get rid of the hiccups??
Question: a spoonfull of sugar will get rid of them!

1. Breath out all the air in your lungs that you can.
2. without inhaling drink about 10-12 oz. of cool water without stopping or taking a breath in the middle (especially don't take a breath while drinking, you may drown).
3. Hiccups - gone
I've ever - in 30 years seen it not work one time and that was with someone who had chronic hiccups.

Only holding my breath makes mine go away. And sometimes I have to do it two or three times.

i just take a luke warm glass od=f water and drink it without stopping that does it for me
u just answered ur own question but 4 me hold ur breath and while your holding your breath take 10 sips of water then breathe

you can get rid of hicups by either holding your breath to the count of 10 when you feel one coming on, or put a bad over your mouth and breath deeply....some say drinking fluids would help too but i find that kind of hard since you have to breathe and drink at the same time it may cause choking

take in a breath and swallow it like you would a sip of water. that's the only thing that worke for me.
