I am 25 and my veins show blue under the skin... and swollen.is it normal??

Question: the veins on the back of my hands, and on the feet are blue and slightly thickened, wasnt so earlier. and the veins on my palms and under the eyes are blue. i never had seen this befor. can someone advise
Answers: Perfectly normal. The first questions to ask are: How fair skinned are you? Fair skin can be rather transparent revealing the veins beneath. Solution get some sun. How much water do you drink? Most people would say that there is a set number of glasses per day, but recent research says drink when you are thirsty. Are you thirsty? Do you drink too much water? Both of these things can result in veins being visible at the surface of the skin. And third, how often do you exercise? Exercise increased blood flow to many parts of your body, and often times after strenuous activity, your veins will have a bit more pressure in them as your heart rate begins so slowly recover from the activity.

My advice is to remain active, drink enough water that you feel healthy and happy, and most of all, don't forget that we are constantly changing and growing and changes may pop up unexpectedly but mean little. You can assume that your body is performing its natural functions and if it was more serious than that, you will see other outward signs of it. headache, pounding in the ears, nausea, fever. Watch for these and if you are worried, call your doctor for a checkup. Other than that, it sounds rather cosmetic. I have always had rather prominent veins, but I exercise, drink lots of water and most of all, am 6'7 tall! Good Luck to you.
see a doctor.
viercrose veins?
I have pruple shadows under my eyes, did have since I was little, they have only started to disapper now, since I cut down on crap food and binge drinking, Blue veins like on your wrists/ arms will show up if you have fair skin??
yes i think if u have very light complexion it is gonna be showing blue...but if u dont think its ok then go c a doctor
That is normal as far as I know. Bodybuilders strive for thick veins. But see a doctor anyway....you never know it may be a problem.
Have you lost a lot of weight recently or are you very pale? It's probably not serious, but if you're worried and they weren't like this before, you should bring it up with your doctor at your next check-up. Don't worry too much, though--it's probably nothing.
If you are male you have less sub-cutaneous fat so that would make them more prominent but if it's only became noticeable recently then it's prob worth mentioning to your doctor.

Could it be high-blood-pressure? Are you under a lot of stress at the moment and not eating well?

I wouldn't worry about it too much but I WOULD check it out with a doc, just to be on the safe side
that aint normal!! please go see a doctor!
have you been exercising lately?...when you exercise your circulation increases and your veins pop out.
No i dont think so. It means that you WORK way to much, or you have a build up or cholesterolor thing of that matter somewhere. You need to see a doctor just incase. It may be from lack of natural sugars you never know.

May be nothing at all. It happenes, you can alwaz get lazer surgery, to remove them.

Hope i heped.
If you are doing excercise than some veins can show under your skin but nothing like swelling, if really it is swelling then go and see a doctor.
You need not worry much till some symptoms appear.
It seems that your blood is thick. You take a glass of water + 1/2 fresh lemon (juice) early in the morning.
If you are not too hungry have some citrous fruits + cup of milk for breakfast or avoid it till you feel hunger.
Take any salad with meal.
Don't eat without hunger.
Avoid exessive non - veg. food.
