- The state of mind before the sleep.
If you sleep wth your hands over your chest, then don't
do that. Or if you don't, try putting some garlic under your pillow. It will help.
I have night terrors about 5 days a week. What helps me is alot of exercise. It sucks having nightmares at the age of 22.
Lay off the Tylenol P.M.
Dreams are just a representation of what you think of your life... though not all bad dreams mean that you are troubled, but usually it is said that you get bad dreams if your life is troubled and if you do not have peace of mind.
Dreams can be the left over stresses of your unconcious mind. Having bad dreams can be caused by issues and problems that you haven't truly dealt with in the waking world.
I would recommend seeing your doctor and talking to him/her about especially if it affecting your sleep. Your doctor may send you to a sleep specialist or possibly suggest councilling.

I read it once, that one of its causes is an oversupply of B6. Maybe you are drinking beer, eating too much eggs, beef, milk, black strap molasses, cabbage, or cantaloupe. Those foods are rich in B6. Possible symptoms of an oversupply of these foods or B6 can is night restlessnes, and too vivid dream recall.
upset stomach, less physical exercise, depression, personal problems.. are some of the cause
If your eating before going to sleep can cause a bad digestion and that can get you some bad nightmare. Also if you have a bad day or something terrible happens that you are witness, there's a chance that you will dream about it or something that is really close to reality. Stress can be part of your nightmares, so try to relax before you go to sleep or think happy thoughts and try to forget all your stress.
Try to relax more and joke around with ur mates them and have good thoughts in your in your mind. Then u have a better asleep tonight. nazneen
Normally we transition from a conscious state of high alertness to a deep sleep...then we return slowly to consciousness as we wake up. As we near full alertness our brains turn back on and random neurologic activity occurs. Because we are waking up ...our brain cannot easily differentiate between dream and reality and begins to try and make a logical connection between these random phenomena...and we get some crazy dream.
Since you have multiple dreams every night...this means that you likely NEVER achieve deep rest full sleep...and instead spend much of the night almost awake .
If you want to dream less-sleep better. Exercise and sometimes even serotonin prescriptions (like prozac or zoloft) may help.
A lot of theories on dreams.Do sleep at regular time. Expect and welcome the dream.Try to remember next day.Relax yours self. Wish u sweet dreams
Bad dreams can be from eating a lot before you go to bed, scary movies, stress , immagination and from already expecting a bad dream to happen. So just try to clear your mind before you go to sleep or just keep your mind on something holy like god or jesus.
1-Stop eating about 2 hrs before sleep , only drink soft stuff like water, no sugar juice, no liquor...
2-No scary movie
3-Clean your woryness
4-Don't stress to much for work or school
5-Don't torture your mind with questions you can not answer
6-take it easy just take the life relax
Any ideas?
