Is it reasonable to drink a bottle of water daily?Auryavada does not agree it.??
Answers: There is nothing in Ayurveda that tells that you must not drink a bottle of water daily. Only in certain exceptional diseases it may be recommended. Further it may advise not to drink a whole bottle of water just before meals. This is so because your gastric juices will get diluted and will not help in proper digetion - ie if you are able to have a meal immediately after taking a bottle of water. Water is GOD's gift - it is treated as an universal medicine - believe it or not water by itself can cure a lot of diseases - even ayurveda acknowledges it!

you should drink at least 2 liters of water daily, water purifies your body from all toxins.
Yes. In fact, you should strive to drink close to a gallon of ice cold water each day, by sipping (not gulping) the water throughout the day.
It has NOTHING to do with toxins (or any other pseudoscience explanation). Ice cold water requires your body to warm the water (homeostasis) to remain at your standard body temperature, burning energy (calories). In addition, the frequent urination required expels heat from your body, requiring additional burning of calories to heat it up again.
Water of course has many other excellent benefits. Water can lessen the chance of kidney stones, keep joints lubricated, prevent and lessen the severity of colds and flu and help prevent constipation. All your cells need water.
Make sure you drink enough so that your urine is almost clear. You can drink tap water or bottled water, as neither is better than the other.
Use your head and base your water intake on your surroundings. Here in Michigan, it gets alot dryer in the Winter and one has to drink more water to maintain the same level hydration. Moisture loss is not from sweating but from breathing. Other side of the coin, in summer moisture loss may come from sweating if one's working outside.
