Why is it, that when you have a cold or flu, that one nostril always stops up.??

Question: Then the other one takes its place about an hour later and then the cycle continues.. . . .
Answers: Believe it or not you only ever breathe from one nostril at a time. Which ever nostril is more clear (even by a little bit) does all of your inhale and exhale for you.

You just notice it more when you are sick because the other nostril is SO stuffed up.
it's just the way it is i guess
roll over and the other one will plug
