You need to be more specific about what you problem is with contact lenses. Chances are that you're just not cleaning them well before you put them on and after you take them off. They need to be cleaned thoroughly and left to sit at least 6 hours in their cleaner after you've used them.
get disposables. mostly made out of water. and you don't have them long enough for them to get really dirty or covered with protein.
You may have chronic dry eye. I would definitely talk to your Optical doc. There are things that can be done and certain contact lenses are far more comfortable than others. I had to use a lot of tear products. Eventually I just gave up and went and had eye surgery - best thing I ever did.
Try the special brands that have extra moisture in them. I use the Johnson and Johnson, and I find if I don't change them in 3-4 weeks they get really irritated. But besides that I wear them for over 14 hours a day and don't have to use any eye drops.
Sounds like the brand is just not for you. I've had much better luck with the Accuvue disposable. Also a possibility that allergy season is active in your area and that can irate the eyes as well making it difficult for you to wear them.
I find that using other solutions or eye drops together or one after the other can irritate your eyes.. be warned about chemical reactions of solutions and drops or both when they mix.. can be quite hazardous. Check out this site to see if it helps any.. Your welcome.
