Why do people say that I am fat when I'm not??
Question: People say I'm ugly and I know I'm not when lots of people say that I am pretty.

Because a lot of people say a lot of things. they like talking.
Some peoples' perceptions are different, thus the saying beauty is in the eye of the beholder .
Also, there is the possibility that they are uncomfortable with the way they look and are intimidated by your appearance. They may be deliberately trying to make you feel bad about yourself.
If people have a problem with the way you look, then that is *their* problem, not yours.
they really just want to be you
Fortunately beauty is obejective. Fat is a matter of opinion unless you are to the point of being unhealthy. Beauty....Well let's just say I have NEVER known even two people that could totally agree on who or what beauty is. I truly believe beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and for me beauty shines through from the inside. The ONLY opinon that counts in this reguard, is how you feel about yourself.
These days people are very confused about what healthy looks like. Models and other celebrities are often much too thin, but they are sometimes taken as the standard for beauty. So those people might just be confused.
Also, perhaps those people want to hurt your feelings and so they call you fat in hopes that it will insult you. If you're healthy, I wouldn't worry about it.

The only people who say you are pretty are most likely your friends and family who are trying not to hurt your feelings. The others might be the realists, who knows. Show us your picture and we'll let you know.
I agree with the statement Beauty is in the eye of the beholder but I know for a fact these persons are just very insecure, if you are still uncomfortable with the answer ask you Dr. they will let you know if you are where you should be for your height. Most importantly DO NOT LET THESE PETTY PEOPLE RUN YOUR LIFE, they are purposely trying to put you down for a reason, their own insecurities, how great of a rush must that be knowing you are so beautiful that you have the power to make such a statement with just entering a room. KUDOS TO YOU GIRL, YOU GO!!! They are very uncomfortable with their own beauty, it always feels better to take our minds off of our own lack of beauty by targeting others. Throwing stones is far easier and far less commendable than being the individual receiving the stoning. They are very weak people and you shouldn't associate with their kind to begin with. I have dealt with this and I would like to tell you just smile at them and don't let them know you are bothered with this, and I can guarantee this will subside soon after. There are people that will always need to use others for a punching bag and these are the truly ugly people. Hope you take this advice, it will make a difference. Think of how lonely and empty these individuals lives must be for taking the time to stop and be vain????
