Why is tobacco legal and marijuana isn't even though they're both equally harmful??

Answers: Marijuana isn't nearly as harmful as tobacco. In fact, marijuana, when used in moderation, has several health benefits. Unlike tobacco, marijuana does not contain the physically addictive drug nicotine. Although marijuana can be habit-forming, it is not addicitve like alcohol, cocaine, or tobaccco.

The only reason that marijuana is illegal in the United States presently is that its legalization would substantially impact the textile, pharmaceutical and petroleum industries. Marijuana can be made into ethanol which can run a diesel engine, it's long, strong fibers can be made into many textiles, and it's therapeutic effects compete with Xanax, Ritalin, etc.

Don't be fooled- marijuana is not what the government says at all. Many Americans are working to correct the unjust marijuana laws.
Because the government sucks
