How do you prevent jogger's nipple in men??
Question: When my husband does any prolonged physical exercise like jogging (or in fact, in this case, several hours of morris dancing), his nipples rub on the inside of of his shirt and become extremely sore. Today it's so bad they have both begun to bleed. Although I do a similar amount and type of exercise, I don't have the same problem as my sports bras are generally very thick and so stop my nipples rubbing. He has a vey hairy chest, so sticking something over his nipples probably wouldn't work - it would be extremely painful to remove whatever he stuck on. any ideas?
Answers: Try a tight fitting t-shirt or technical shirt like Under Armour.
Have you thought of a lycra undershirt, you know the kind American Football players wear called Underarmor ?
Morris Dancing, eh? Haven't heard of someone doing that on Yahoo Answers...that's cool!

Sorry. I can't answer it.
A sports bra... Extra large? Or try making one for him, made of satin or silk.
Tell him to put a bandaid over each of his nipples before he works out
My husband puts band aids on his nipples when he exercises or wears anything that rubs his nipples. He loves it and it doesnt hurt. If your husband has hair around his he just needs to shave a little bit.
wrap with ace bandage around the chest (just tight enough not to shift when moving, but not tight enough to constrict the chest)...should provide a non-moveable barrier to the friction fom the shirt fabric, and still come off without pulling hairs. while they are still sore or tender, consider sterile gauze pads to protect them from the texture of the wrap. when healed, a light dusting of baby powder will help under the wrap.
Please try a local Anesthetic over the nipple and it will cut of any abnormal sensations . He won't even feel the rub of the shirt or even if you squeeze it at all. It's not hard to get a local anesthetic spray or gel these days.
Also before jogging ask him to wear a soft cotton vest tight enough to prevent his nipples from moving up and down while jogging this will decrease the friction and pain too.
All the best!
