What is the purpose of underwear??
Question: I don't know. I wear a pair every day, but I've never known exactly why we wear it. I have some ideas, but I'm not sure if they're right.
Answers: I think it's a hygiene issue more then anything. I know for girls there can be discharge (sorry to gross you out guys if you didn't know that already) and as well, it's a comfort thing. I know that when I wear jeans with nothing else, it tends to hurt down there and get irritated.. Don't know for guys though if that happens? I have heard about zipper accidents without underwear though!! Ouch!!
to keep skidmarks off the clothes.
there is really no purpose. some people go commando some people don't like the breeze. its all about preference.

To help keep you from sitting on your package, cause it hurts when you do. Other than that, it's something we wear so when we bend over to pick something up, we don't show the world the A. crack. If you like showing ya moms, girly, who ever... just don't show me!
The biggest reason to wear underwear has nothing to do with hygiene or decency, it is mostly about what you find most comfortable, or pleasing visually. If you like underwear great, then wear them, if you don't like them then great, don't wear them.
