Don't be fat.
Eat a balanced, low-fat diet, exercise regularly, and lead a low-stress life. Good luck!
Mostly exercise to strengthen the heart which is a muscle... also do not eat fatty foods (like fast food and junk food) so as not to clog the heart...
Some cant, as heart attacks can be genetic. Some are more prone to heart attacks than others.

Most people say exercise, and a proper diet help decrease the chance of having a heart attack. Nothing can really prevent it.
You can help prevent it....but if it's going to happen then that's it.

EAt Salmon, don't smoke, keep you bad chol. down, exercise....all that good stuff.

Water, exercise, low-fat food, not much meat, lots of fruit and vegetables, Vitamin E. If you have high cholesterol take your meds.

Don't smoke. Don't drink. Eat lots of veggies and fish and fiber and very little red meat. Exercise 3-4 times a week. Keep cholesterol low. Drink lots of water. Reduce stress.
Even if Heart disease is genetic, you can reduce your risk tremendously by living a healthy lifestyle.
Eat plenty of fat so that you have a nice thick layer covering it. That will keep your heart nice and warm during the winter months.

On the other hand stay happy and fill it full of joy.
the latest fad that has proven to help prevent heart attacks is statins they help reduce the level of bad fats in your artery's keep them clear so your blood can flow freely .a low fat diet moderate exercise and fruit and veg can help to .healthy eating is always a good measure to take reduced sugars as well .
Don't eat too many saturated fats, don't smoke, exercise regularly, and if you're over 20, ask you doc about aspirin therapy.
Go vegetarian and if you can vegan. If you eat meat your chances of having a heart attack are far greater.
