My eye sight is about 2.5 points week. i want to get rid of glasses. contract lenses are better or laser.??
Answers: Contact lenses are great for a short term solution. I've worn glasses for half of my life. I went from glasses to contacts, but now, I'm back to glasses. The contacts just irriate my eyes now. For a permanent solution, I say go with the laser. Its costly, but well worth it in the end.
I don't know much about laser eye surgury. But I wear contacts, and have been very happy with them. See your eye doctor, not everyone is able to wear contacts, but most people are. Your eye dr, will be able to fit you for them as well as teach you how to put them in and take them out. Could probably offer some advise on the laser surgury questions you have as well.
hi..
I dont know how old you are.. but if you are below 24 .. you should not go for a laser surgery.. anyways... no surgeries are 100 guranted.
Go for contact lens... they are light and easy to wear and.. the thing is.. in the meantime:) you can also change your eye-colour for fun :)
Contact lenses is as same as glases. If you are concious about your sight, then go on with the laser treatment.
My brother is an optometrist and does laser procedures. According to him and other people I have spoken to who have had laser done, it doesn't always work. Some people will have it work for a little bit, then their eyesight either goes back to the way it was before the surgery, or it is worse. This procedure is not fullproof and is different for everyone. Your best bet is to sit down with your doctor and have him discuss with you about the procedure, and how it could help or hinder your specific eye problem.
