Is it unhealthful to exercise right after you eat??
Question: and im talking right after, without waiting an hour or two. i ate four subway sandwiches but i was running late because i had to play right after. i didnt really want to play but i i ended up starting and i started to feel burnin in my stomach and my heart. it feels better now but im wondering if i made a bad health decision to make my body suffer.
Answers: You should atleast have a gap of 90 - 120mins before and after your exercises/Training to have anything to eat.
u should excercise or workout after 2 hrs of ur meal cause ur food is not digested and u may womit
did you say FOUR Subways? You shouldnt exercise because your blood is digesting your food. FOUR? OMG.
Maybe not unhealthy but ull get a side stich.
its not good on your stomach since the blood is rushing to the organs to digest the food and its easy to come back up if your heartrate and body temp go up. and if your not eating right then your actually sleepier since your energy is running on E and it takes energy to digest the food as well. But eating 4 subway sandwiches isn't what the subway diet is all about either lol.
Yes, its extremely unhealthy and I think its quite likely that you'll die from it in the next few hours. I recommend telling your family and friends that you love them and then examining your life.
i dont think it's healthy to eat 4 subway's right before exercising. you'll more than likely feel dizzy, get stomach cramps if you are running, and/or might actually just throw up. you should eat small meals throughout the day instead of 3 big ones and it's best to exercise in the morning, before you have eaten something.
It is best to eat light if you HAVE to eat right before working out. Some berries and cheese. Some nuts and a smoothie. Yogurt and fruit. Carrot sticks and a protein shake. Protein and fiber. But, not too much sugar. If you are in a crunch for time and have to hit a drive thru get a fruit and yogurt parfait from McDonalds. Then eat a full meal after you work out. You also burn more fat if you eat after working out.
I think that in general you should wait a while before you start doing vigorous exercise after you have eaten. As you eat your body makes the judgment that digestion becomes number one priority and so a large concentration of blood flow goes to the digestive organs. Many people will feel tired or a bit sluggish after they eat meals because a large amount of blood is going to the digestion and not as much to the other parts of the body (including your muscles.) By doings exercise (especially a lot of running around type stuff) your forcing the body to take its efforts off of digestion and back to the muscles that your using, so there is a chance there might be some problems with digesting. Some people will feel pain or cramping because of this. Next time give yourself enough time to digest your food before you play and perhaps stick with only two subway sandwiches (lol even I can't eat four subway sandwiches in one setting!)
You can exercise anytime. It's best to exercise right before you eat, but it really doesn't matter, unless having a full stomach bouncing around makes you feel ill.
mabye.
i would say its better to eat before but leave time before you exercise. if you eat after you exercise and then go to bed after you eat that will cause more fat to build up. so, eat before you exercise to not have the possibility of increasing fat (even if u dont go to bed right after you exercise)
