Where do I turn for state of the art prosthetics??
Question: I was in a motorcycle accident last year and am facing a surgery soon that very possibly can leave me with one leg. If that's the case, they will remove it at the hip, leaving me without a stump. I have insurance but the red tape is insane and that doesn't guarantee me anything. Is there somewhere I can turn? You always hear about doctors trying new things on people. How do I become one of those people ?
