What type of doctor diagnoses a hernia??

Answers: Most any medical doctor can diagnose a hernia. However, a general surgeon would generally make the decision on whether or not the hernia required surgery or just to be watched.
Any general doctor can do it. When you go in for a physical at your local family doctor, they check for hernias, and if they find something, they may send you to see a specialist, but your local family doctor can tell you if you have one or not. Just ask for a physical.
A touchy subject ehh dude!!NO sweat, your family Doctor should be able to help you.
voodoo seriously voodoo
if the doctor was correct, a good doctor
I don't think there is a medical field that specializes on the subject of hernias, but your regular doctor would certainly be the best start. Embarrassing it must be...as I've never had one. Yeah...., see a regular doctor for that.
a doctor in Voo doo
There really is no certain type of doctor to diagnoss that. I had an Umbilical Hernia from when I was pregnant with my son and I just asked my family physician what it was, and he told me.
pretty much any general doctor (family doctor, peditrician, etc). You may be able to do it yourself if your careful. Behind your ball sac there's these two areas with a hole beneath the skin probably about the size of a finger. Use your index finger and place gentle pressure on the point, turn your head to side your testing first (left or right), then cough. Feel for anything that pokes out. Then repeat for the oposite side. I am not a doctor, but i just had it done a week or two ago and he explained it. He also said, hernias occur where the balls drop from (because they start as being inside of you then fall into your ball sac) via some tube. Hopefully, this will give you an idea at least where to start.
Any good doctor will diagnose hernia but it is operated by a general surgeon.
