Can all vasectomys be reversed??

Question: My husband had a vasectomy 5 1/2 years. I'm wondering if they can reverse all vasectomys? The procedure they did was cut, caterized, and tied.
Answers: Almost all vasectomies can be reversed. However, if the vasectomy was performed during the repair of a hernia in the groin, there may be more difficulty reconnecting the ends of the vas. Rarely, reconnection of the ends of the vas is not possible because such a long segment of the vas was removed during the vasectomy procedure. The chances of vasectomy reversal success depend on how much time has passed between the vasectomy and the reversal. Success rates range from 30% to 50%.1 Over time, additional blockages can form and some men develop antibodies to their own sperm.
no, there is no sucess again
After 5 years the chances of a sucessful reversal are low.
But it has been done
The answer is maybe. You should consult with a general physician or urologist first. You can also check out www.vasectomy.com for more info.
It depends upon how long ago the vasectomy was done.
