What causes an eye disorder that causes a film commonly known as sleep and what would cause it to be daily ??

Question: the person is 52 years of age and this problem happens every time he awakens from sleeping.
Answers: could be GPC or giant papillary conjunctivitis. I used to get it when i wore contact lenses. Essentially your eyes get irritated by something (contacts, cat hair, hay fever, dust) and their ability to ward off illness is lowered. They catch bacterial infections, and mucus results. If it is alot, go to the eye doctor. He/she will give you ointment to put in your eyes and help you figure out what is causing it.
The crusty stuff in the corners of your eyes? It's the tear ducts working to clean themselves out.
Yeah, it's no big deal though, I eman everybody gets it. It's no diease, syndrome or disorder.
The tear ducts may be blocked. It may be dry eye syndrome. See an Optomologist (eye specialist) right away for proper treatment. I did and I use Gen Teal daily. Good Luck, Syd
