2 year earlier i got an ancident, after that my sense of smelling has lost. can anybody give me some advice??

Question: at night approxi 2 or 3 O'clock, i was sleeping in my house. few people raided my house and hitted at my head and ran away, after 2 hours i was hospitalise. after that i do not feel any smell. my sense of smelling has gone. please advise is it bad for health or not.thanks
Answers: i am assuming, given the fact that you were hospitalized after your injury, that your doctors then did a CT scan. if they did not, i agree with the above poster that you should get a CT scan right away.

on the other hand, if the CT was normal, then the loss of a sense of smell is not immediately dangerous to your health. but, i would advise against having a gas stove--if you cannot smell a gas leak, then your health is endangered.

there are many causes for anosmia--the loss of your sense of smell. trauma (especially trauma to the head) is a common cause. traumatic anosmia is, unfortunately, usually irreversible.

good luck!
I would suggest seeing a docter, and thats probably not healthy =/
I would see a doctor as soon as you can.The doctor can do some tests like an CAT scan and see what is going on and how extensive your injury is.
