Can narcissism be cured??
Question: Can someone with the Narcissistic Personality Disorder be healeed completely?
Answers: Pathological, malignant narcissism - known as the Narcissistic Personality Disorder (NPD) - cannot be cured or healed. Certain antisocial, dysfunctional, self-destructive, self-defeating, and counterproductive behaviors can be modified. Attendant mood and other mental disorders can be controlled. But that's just about it.
I would think that the narcissistic person would have to recognize their narcissism first, which if you are, you're probably not going to.
IF after recognizing it, I think it could be dealt with as in, life changes , but not cured.
they need to do lots of charity work, nitty gritty stuff. day in and day out for a long time. if that doesnt do it then no they cannot be cured. If they are in Africa helping dying people and its still about them then theres no hope.
now if its a medical problem that needs meds, sorry if I offend cuz im no expert here.
