I need a new job??
Question: I hate the state of VA with a pasion!!! But my kids are here and I feel like if I don't get out of this state I'm going to go crazy!! What should I do?? How do I go on??
Answers: I think you should go on ... I believe that if you don't try something then you will regret it for the rest of your life. Believe me you are going to be just fine.
Find a job first. Monster.com is a good place to start. Pick a place that has lots of great things for your kids to do, good schools, and something that your wife would find interesting. Good luck.
I take it your kids do not live with you. If that is the case, I take it they will stay with your ex-wife. Maybe your ex would move too? Or are your kids older and you will just be sad theya re so far away, you didn't say if they were grownkids. Actually you didn't give enough info to get a great answer. I am sorry you hate VA with a passion. I am not that crazy about Seattle area either, would like to live in maui but all my family is here and so I shall stay.

Im sorry, i believe that if you do not like a job... move on... there are plenty others... its not right to wake up every morning and be unhappy with what you are doing... lifes to short... plus how great are you at work if you hate your job? YOU can't leave your kids behind!!! they need you... my advice is look for a traveling job.. where you can get away for awhile, then come home to see your kids
