What would you do if someone in your family developes a mental illness??

Seek out a doctor to help the person over come/get thru this mental illness they have.

um.... well... do what i needed to to make them better/ accomidate their needs. it'd be a pain in ze ****, but it'd still be nessecary.
do the best that i can to take care of them anad try my hardest to be very clam and jus luv them they my family.

well it depends on how close dat person is. if it is someone close, its quite obvious dat u r not gonna leave them as im sure u wudnt wanna leave a person who has been a good part of ur life, alone juz because he/she is behaving wierder dan ususal! hey **** happens! juz put urself in their place n see how it wud feel if u were left...

A signnificant mental health problem be treated by a Board certified Psychiatrist - not a psychologist; the former is a MD; the latter is not. If the patient is of college age or younger the patient should be a Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist.
