Are multiple ear piercings always a sign of masochistic inclinations??
Answers: My opinion as well as many experts I have heard and listened to...say Yes But I also believe is that it is a way of saying I'm here, hear me , see me, I have a need of love, of acceptance, of knowing I matter. Yes, unfortunately when we hurt on the inside (even without realizing it sometimes) we want to express it on the outside. And yes some do it in a constructive manner, and some in a destructive, or obsessive manner. Believe it or not we just want to be happy, know where we are going and who we are or are becoming..and its just darn tuff when we don't understand. Been there...more than I cared too. But love yourself, be true for you! God/Jesus is always the answer to all things!

NO..I got my second hole to show my boyfriend's daughter that it didn't hurt...although it hurt like hell and BOTH of my holes in both ears ended up closing up..LoL.

Uh, no. I've got my ears pierced four times, and I'm far from masochistic. I just did it cause I thought it was cool, not cause I wanted to cause myself pain. Besides, piercing your ears doesn't hurt.

I would think that depending on what one wanted to wear in one's ear would determine that answer. Do you have ear-rings that are attractive, cool, just you????think about it. what's a person's reason for multiple ear piercing???Back in the olden days 2 on each ear was pretty or cool especially if a diamond accented another piece of gold....you dig. on the other hand though my sis at one time pierced her left ear 5 times because she wanted lot's of different ear rings on just one of her ears..doing it on both ears would have been gaudy......wo Different generations have different outlooks, in my opinion the now aday piercers can get a little carried away, and unfortunatly some may tend to be masochistic (i think i know what this is) anyway some people value my opinion some could care less. I do it bc i think they are cute and I like it. the pain is just a small perk. :) (i also have four tattoos)
